Treat yourself to a winter getaway at Stony Bay Lodge – a slice of paradise nestled just metres from the magnificent Tora coast.

Completed in 2014, the lodge has premium views of the rugged and unpopulated coastline, and is architecturally designed to withstand the weather extremes for which Tora is renowned. It’s airy, spacious and supremely comfortable, with huge stacker doors that open to an expansive deck with uninterrupted views of Manurewa Point and the Pacific Ocean. It also has a large open fire, with plenty of firewood provided.

Stay parked up in the large window seat, or head outdoors and check out the nearby seal colony, walk along the coast to the historic Opua Shipwreck, or head up the hill behind the lodge for stunning coastal views.

There is an enormous living area, and seated dining for up to 15 people, making it perfect for group celebrations, family holidays and reunions with friends.

The lodge comfortably sleeps up to 15 people in 4 well-appointed bedrooms, with 2 modern bathrooms.
