Due to overwhelming popularity in 2018, this year we are offering four magical weekend retreats throughout August.

There are two different types of retreats to choose from, across four weekends:

All retreats start Friday afternoon and finish Sunday lunchtime. All meals, accommodation, workshops and sessions are included.  Leave with a specially crafted Wellness at Home pack so you can continue your self-care journey at home.

Tora Yoga Retreat

Set in the heart of the Tora Coastal Walk, this weekend escape has health and wellbeing at its core, providing an escape from the toxins and pressures of daily life.

Find your inner zen with two yoga and mindfulness sessions, delivered by expert yogini and Wellbeing Guide Kate McLeay.  Soak up the stunning and rugged scenery on a guided 3-hour morning walk over hilltop ridges with expansive views of the Pacific, and enjoy a nurturing and informative workshop on women’s hormone health with dietician Sarah Percy.

Top it off with your own 20-minute foot reflexology session, and a menu featuring fresh, seasonal, whole foods (organic, dairy free and gluten free where possible), and you’re in for a nurturing and special women’s retreat.

Take the opportunity to make it a digital detox if you choose – with the wi-fi password given out only on request. The perfect chance to unplug!

Tora Pilates Escape

A weekend escape set in the heart of the Tora coast, that celebrates you. With delicious food and wine and plenty of time to relax, this retreat is the ultimate food for the soul.

Soak up the stunning and rugged scenery on a guided 3-hour morning walk over hilltop ridges with expansive views of the Pacific, enjoy an informative and nurturing workshop on Finding Balance with dietician Sarah Percy, and stretch and strengthen with expert Pilates instructor Robyn Hitchborn.

Top it off with fresh local produce prepared by your hosts Kiri and Jenny, a wonderful wine-matched three-course dinner at Stony Bay Lodge, featuring premium Martinborough wines, and a specially crafted Wellness At Home pack to take home with you, and you’re in for a delicious women’s retreat.

Full payment is required up front in order to confirm your place.

Please indicate which retreat and which weekend you would like to book for, and how many people are in your group, so we can take this into account when allocating sleeping arrangements.

Payment in full is required in order to confirm your place.  You can pay by credit card or bank transfer.  Credit card payments incur a 3% surcharge.

Where is Stony Bay Lodge?
Stony Bay Lodge is located on the Tora Coast, approximately 45 minutes from Martinborough Wine Village, Wairarapa, or approximately 2 hours from Wellington City. Click here for further information and transport options

What’s the accommodation like?

Stony Bay Lodge, is a slice of paradise nestled just metres from the Tora coast. Completed in 2014, the lodge has premium views of the rugged and unpopulated coastline. It’s airy, spacious and supremely comfortable. There’s a large open fire, and a huge window seat, where you can park up with a cup of tea or a book and look out to the Pacific Ocean. During your free time you might choose to head outdoors and check out the nearby seal colony, or up to the Crows Nest for stunning views of the coast.

It is shared accommodation, with rooms sleeping 2-4 people. Rooms will be allocated based on numbers and group sizes. Please note that you will be sharing living, dining areas and bathrooms with other members of the group.

What do I need to bring?
Comfort is key. Wear comfortable clothes, and bring appropriate walking gear (including raincoat), and clothing that you would like to wear for your yoga or pilates sessions. Bring a yoga mat if you have one. Please also bring your own toiletries and any personal belongings. You’ll have a bit of free time to relax, so you might also want to pack a book, magazine or journal, and slippers.
