    OUR 2024/25 SEASON IS NOW OPEN FOR BOOKINGS

The season runs from Sunday 22 September 2024 – Friday 2 May 2025.  The price for the 2024-25 season is $995 per adult and $895 for children.

WE WILL OPEN BOOKINGS FOR OUR 2025-26 SEASON AT 9AM ON SUNDAY 16 JUNE 2024.  The price for walking in the 2025-26 season is $1065pp and $895 for children 12 and under.  The deposit required at the time of booking is $395pp.  Your balance is due one month prior to the date of your trip.

The availability calendar is kept updated at all times.  If an arrival date is showing as SOLD this means there is no availability at all for that date.

Making a booking:

  • To check availability, or to book, please click here.  Our calendar is kept up-to-date at all times. If your preferred dates are not available, we recommend checking regularly, and signing up to our waitlist, in case new dates come available.  You only need to book your night of arrival, our system will then automatically book your group for the three night package 
  • Please book as a group, rather than individuals. This gives us the ability to allocate rooms according to your group.
  • If you are booking for one person, please contact us directly, so we can advise the most suitable dates. We take into account other group sizes, to ensure you have the best possible experience.
  • We require a deposit of NZ $395pp to confirm each booking.
  • Within 1 hour of completing your booking online, you will receive an email confirmation. This will include our banking details to pay your deposit by direct bank transfer.  Your booking is not secured until the deposit has been received.
  • Your group leader will be contacted six weeks prior to your arrival date, at which time we will collect information regarding any dietary requirements.
  • We can take a maximum of 14 people per day. If you have at least 12 people in your group, we will guarantee the accommodation and trail exclusively for you.

Payment Options

Please make one deposit payment per group.  It is best for the team leader to collect $395 from each person in the group and pay it as a lump sum, using the booking reference. We are happy to give you a couple of days to get this sorted.

  • Payments can be made using a direct bank transfer, or by credit card.  PLEASE NOTE A 3% FEE WILL BE ADDED TO ALL CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS.
  • Direct Payment: Tora Coastal Walk, Account Number 02 0727 0281739 000. Please use your booking reference number as the reference with your payment
  • International Transfer: If making a bank transfer from outside New Zealand you will require our swift code:  BKNZNZ22 and our bank details:  BNZ, 193 Queen Street, Masterton 5810
  • Please pay your balance into the above bank account one calendar month prior to your booked arrival date.  We accept separate balance payments from individual group members however please ensure your booking reference number is used with all payments.

Cancellation by you and refunds:

All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to info@toracoastalwalk.nz

  • ,Cancellation fees are charged on the following basis per person:
  • Outside 90 days from date of walk departure: NZ$100 per person;
  • Between 89-60 days from date of walk departure: NZ$200 per person;
  • Between 59-21 days from date of walk departure: 50% of full fare; or
  • Within 21 days of date of walk departure: 100% of full fare.
  • Guest names are transferable.  There is no charge for changing names within a booking – you are welcome to find a replacement if you cannot come.  Please contact us with your booking reference number, the name of the person/people who can no longer come and the name of the replacement person/people
  • Should you need to move your booking from one season to another, the price for the season your booking is changed to will apply
