We commissioned local Wairarapa artist, Nikki McIvor, who produced this stunning Kingfisher print, titled Windswept. The sacred Kingfisher have made themselves at home at Tora. The weathered totara fence post and No. 8 wire are symbolic of forest and farmland, representing New Zealand’s rich farming history and the resourcefulness of the people who farm the land. The arrow marks the way for walkers who travel along the track, as they enjoy the walks’ stunning and diverse landscape.
