The weathered totara fence post and No. 8 wire are symbolic of forest and farmland, representing New Zealand’s rich farming history and the resourcefulness of the people who farm the land. The arrow marks the way for walkers who travel along the track, as they enjoy the walks’ stunning and diverse landscape.
We commissioned local Wairarapa artist, Nikki McIvor, to create an artwork that captures the spirit of the Tora landscape. A3 artwork (297 x 420mm paper size) is printed on 300gsm environmentally-friendly, chlorine free, 100% recycled, acid-free archival art paper.
